What's That You're Reading?
I love to read. I seriously devour books. I love libraries, second-hand books shops, ordering books off Amazon and buying books from both well-stocked Waterstones and random independent shops. I enjoy highlighting books, marking relevant chapters, loaning them to friends and reading paragraphs out loud when the words resonate with my heart. You will find me reading on trains, reading in cafes, reading in bed with my booklight and reading while eating my lunch (normally drooling something down myself). I appreciate fiction, non-fiction, poetry, books with pictures, books that smell new, books that are yellowed with age... Basically, I love all the words.
Books have helped me find myself over the past year so I thought I would share (a small) selection of titles that can be found on my bookshelf. Flick through the slideshow or scroll down to see top-trumps-esque ratings (so you could print them out and play my bookshelf with friends if you were cool enough).
If you have any recommendations for me, I'd love to hear them.
